Braintree Community Hospital provides a new and innovative
approach to NHS Healthcare. It is one of the first community
hospitals to provide a wide range of day case surgery, outpatients
and diagnostic tests alongside the services traditionally available
at a community hospital such as rehabilitation, community beds
and community nursing.
We were asked to reflect this innovative approach by creating a
brand identity that would complement but abide by the stringent
rules laid down within the NHS brand guidelines. The “circles and
echoes” borrow colour reference from the interior decor of the
building and provide a distinctive graphic device that is not a logo
but is recognisable and associates all the different communication
channels used by the hospital to inform and connect with the
Braintree community.
